Whilst acrylic may not seem like a sustainable option, sometimes this issue is not as clear cut as it seems. Acrylic yarn washes amazingly in the washing machine and will remain soft and snuggly if cared for properly. This means this scarf will last for a long time! We have been knitting these snoods using this exact yarn for 10 years and can contest how good they look after all these years! They take a bit of wear and tear a lot better than pure wool and are a lot softer! The added wool adds a bit of luxury and the viscose adds to the appearance of the yarn!
